Volunteers
are needed in the following areas:

Animal
caretakers:
Clean cages, wash toys, prepare
food, monitor well being, monitor
and prepare enrichment. |
|
Fund
raisers:
Assist in projects and to organize
fund raisers. |
|
Grant
writers:
Assist with writing grants,
researching, and following through
with current projects. |
|
Office
help:
Filling, answer phones, write
letters, send thank you's, take
messages, organize office, etc. |
|
Construction
Company:
Help with our new chimp buildings
and habitats and assist our
current construction company. |
|
Electrician:
Test outlets, install new
electrical lines, install and test
breakers, test existing heaters,
etc. |
|
Dentist:
Occasional dental work on animals,
to assist staff veterinarians. |
|
Media:
Write and fax media press releases
and public service announcements. |
|
Plumber:
Fix hot water heater, repair
occasional broken water lines,
repair and maintain water lines to
animal enclosures. |
|
Welder:
Spot welding needed for
miscellaneous repairs. |
|
Driver:
Pick up produce from various
locations during scheduled days in
local area. |
|
Maintenance:
Help as needed with minor repairs
on small lawn equipment, etc. |
|
Manpower:
Needed soon for help with our new
chimp habitat. |
