We need your help!
Due to the very cold weather we have been
having, we desperately need the loan or gift of a
generator to run the heat lamps for our primates.
If you have a generator, or if you know someone who
can help, please give us a call - we are trying very
hard to keep all the animals warm.

Thank you for your support!
We thank all members of the community, groups that
donate money and Wish List items to our animals.
We understand some people do not wish to give cash
to an organization without knowing how it is spent.
If you would like, you can donate directly to our
suppliers to help the animals. Some of the
main expenses we have are: Smelt Feed and Pet
Supply, 4116 E
7th Ave. Tampa, FL 33605, 800-827-2473. Smelt
accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
We normally spend around $200 per month for animal
food from Smelt. You can call Verizon to
help pay the office telephone bill at
1-800-483-5000, Progress Energy at
464-4000 to help with the electric bill. Our
electric is used to run refrigerators and a freezer
to preserve our animal food as well as lighting for
the Great Ape House and office. Also, during
the cold months we put electric heaters on the
animal houses. We hose all enclosures 2 times
a day and use water in the food preparation area to
clean fruits and vegetables.
